PURPOSE:To charge a secondary battery readily even in an area, where battery availability is poor, by attaching a solar battery to a carrying case, and providing a secondary-battery charging part in a cabinet. CONSTITUTION:A battery driven electronic apparatus is contained in a cabinet 1a. A solar battery 2 is provided on the outer surface of the cabinet 1a. A secondary-battery charging part 4, to which charging current is supplied from said solar battery 2, is provided in the cabinet 1a. For example, the solar battery 2 is attached to the outer surface of a cap 1a' of the cabinet 1a of a carrying case 1. A solar-battery protecting cover 3 is provided. The cover 3 comprises a flexible material. One end of the cover is attached to the outer surface of the cap 1a'. The other end of the cover can be freely attached to or removed from the outer surface of the cap 1a'. When the case 1 is carried, the other end of the cover 3 is locked to the outer surface 1a of the cap 1a'. Under this state, the solar battery 2 is covered with the cover 3. The battery 2 is protected from shocks and the like. |
