Cooling-tower structure, in particular for steam power stations with cooling-water reservoir, trickling grid and trickling-grid supports. The cooling-water reservoir has a surrounding reservoir wall and a reservoir floor connected thereto. The trickling-grid supports penetrate the reservoir floor. The trickling-grid supports as well as the surrounding reservoir wall are connected in a settlement-free manner to load-carrying ground layers with the aid of deep foundation elements. The subsoil is anyway, however, in danger of settlement. The reservoir floor is mounted directly on the settlement-sensitive subsoil as well as connected with sealing means to the structural parts erected in a settlement-free manner. The reservoir floor is made of three layers of asphalt and consists of a lower bituminous support layer, an intermediate layer in the form of an asphalt mastic layer and a surface layer made of asphalt concrete. The structural parts erected in a settlement-free manner have, in the connection region of the reservoir floor as well as over a height which is greater by the settlement differences than the thickness of the reservoir floor, bevelled connecting concrete surfaces with an angle of bevel of 60 to 80@. The connecting concrete surfaces have in their lower region at least one longitudinally running positive shaping in the form of a recess which is a number of centimetres deep. <IMAGE>
