PURPOSE:To enable the compact recording and proper display of a large quantity of data, by a method wherein a measured signal subjected to A/D conversion and format processing is stored and subjected to predetermined processing to be displayed while processed results are stored in an auxiliary memory means. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of analogue measured signals obtained through a multiplexer 2 and an A/D converter 3 receive format processing by CPU 4b of a control apparatus 4 to be written in the corresponding area of RAM 3d. On the basis of this writing content, CPU 4b performs operations such as the enlargement and contraction of a time axis and a scale axis, the sliding of a tread shaft or the like corresponding to the setting of an operation key switch 6 and the operation results are stored in the image memory area of RAM 4d not only to be properly displayed on a CRT display device 8 but also to be recorded on the floppy disk of an auxiliary memory apparatus 9. By this method, a large quantity of data can be recorded compactly and displayed appropriately and properly.
