PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of operation by a method wherein air is taken into a device from two directions and the air, which is suitable for room cooling or room heating, is utilized as a heat source. CONSTITUTION:An indoor machine 1 and an outdoor machine 2, provided in an underfloor, is connected through a refrigerant pipeline 3. Upon room cooling in summer, the north side of a house becomes shady, therefore, the temperature of the north side of the house becomes lower. Accordingly, air is sucked from the north side into the outdoor machine 2 through a duct 4' and is discharged to the south side of the house through the duct 4. Upon room heating in winter, sun light is projected against the south side of the house and the temperature of the south side becomes higher than the north side, therefore, air is sucked from the south side into the outdoor machine 2 through the duct 3 and is discharged to the north side of the house through the duct 4'. A temperature difference due to azimuth is utilized so as to be profitable in the operation in such manner whereby an efficient operation may be effected. |
