<p>The memory disc (1) comprises at least one substrate base disc (2) and a screening disc (7), arranged at a distance from the latter. Both discs are produced from plastic by means of a mould (10) in an injection-moulding or transfer-moulding process. The discs are connected to each other, at least in the outer peripheral region, by being welded together by means of moulded-on webs. The substrate base disc (2) has an information layer (4) and, in the region thereof, a microstructure, which is taken over from a mould (10) which is provided at least in the outer region with depressions (16) for forming the webs (5). The depressions (16) in the mould, or in a negative electroplate used for producing the mould, are created by means of high-energy radiation focused to a certain depth below the surface of the mould or of the electroplate, by melting and vaporising the material of the mould or electroplate. <IMAGE></p> |
