PURPOSE:To attain thin profile of a disc player by moving the 2nd spindle motor in parallel while the direction of the turning center of the 2nd spindle motor is unchanged. CONSTITUTION:A support pin 20 prolonged vertically to a disc carrying face of the 1st spindle motor 13 on a base member 10, a rocking member 21 is supported freely rockably and the 2nd spindle motor 19 is fitted to the free end of the rocking member 21. A worm wheel 22 is fixed to the rocking support end of the member 21 and the worm wheel is connected to an output shaft of a motor 27 via a worm 23, a pulley 24, a belt 25 and a pulley 26. Thus, a drive torque provision means giving a torque to the member 21 consists of them. Further, the moving means moving the 2nd spindle motor 19 consists of the drive torque providing means, the member 21 and the support pin 20.
