摘要 |
PURPOSE:To prevent the operation of an information processing unit from being disabled by applying error correction and rewrite to a storage medium when an error is detected at microprogram load. CONSTITUTION:The result of operation of exclusive OR from data Ai to Zi at each track of an FD is stored as the i-th data Ti of the data recovery track with respect to a microprogram muP in a floppy disc FD2. When an error is detected in an error location X in the data read from the FD2 by an error detection function 4 at muP load, an information processing unit 1 uses an error correction function 7 to recover the lost data X from the read data except the error location X and the corresponding recovered data read from the recovery track. The recovered error location X data is stored in a location corresponding to the muP storage section 3 and rewrite is tried by a rewrite function 8 to a storage location of the FD2. |
