The invention relates to a connection device enabling the formation of a corona discharge to be prevented. In this device, which connects together the elements 7, 9 forming part of a high-voltage transmission-line suspension and includes a bolt 8 traversing the said elements and having a transverse hole 8b, a nut 10 screwed onto the bolt and including at least one groove 10b aligned with the hole, and a split pin 11 inserted and housed in the groove 10b and in the hole 8b, the groove 10b is formed in the base surface 10a of the nut 10 which is in contact with one of the elements 7, 9 so as to be recessed with respect to the upper surface of the nut 10.
