The plug connector, which is especially suitable as a plug base for integrated socket modules, is provided with connecting elements (1) for soldering into an electrical printed-circuit board. Said connecting elements (1) are pressed into through-openings (2) in a housing (3) of the plug connector. The connecting elements (1), which are stamped from flat material, have a transversely-running, bead-like bulge (4) in the region of the through-opening (2), which bulge (4) presses into the associated inner wall of the through-opening (2). The lateral cut edges of the connecting element (1) are tapered conically and are larger in size than the width of the through-opening (2). As a result of this measure, the through-opening (2) is effectively sealed against flux rising during soldering. <IMAGE>
