摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an automatic continuous measurement of the amount and position of deformation of a rotary deformed body by rotating a sample at a set speed while a strobe and a camera are operated to catch the image thereof. CONSTITUTION:Samples T<1> and T<2> of a boot for a uniform-speed joint are housed rotatably into a thermostatic chamber 1 and illuminated with a lighting lamp 3 through a milky white semi-transparent plate 4. The samples T<1> and T<2> are rotated with a motor 8 and the rotational speed thereof T<1> and T<2> is detected with a speed detector 9 to control the speed with a speed controller 10. Then, as the samples T<1> and T<2> are rotated at a specified speed, a strobe 15 and a camera 16 are operated intermittently synchronizing the rotational speed thereof and the images of the samples T<1> and T<2> are taken each time light is irradiated at each position on the entire circumference of the samples T<1> and T<2> by a specified angle of rotation. Thus, based on the images, the amount of deformation is automatically measured on each lot of the samples T<1> and T<2> by a video system 17 while the position of the deformation is determined.
