<p>The mfd. parts have spiral grooves such as rotors and stators used in worm screw pumps in which rotor and stator mesh with one another or rotors for centrifugal pumps. To mrf. the grooves, a cutter head is used, the shape of which corresponds with the shape of the mating part of the pump. The cutter head is moved relative to the part to be mfd. in the same way as the part moves in the pump or motor relative to its mating part. The grooves are therefore cut in the same way as gears are mfd.</p> |
