PURPOSE:To set an arbitrary time, especially at night, to the automatic reception mode and to attain effective use of a telephone, by providing a setting means setting the 1st and 2nd time, and switching the mode to be automatic reception mode during the time being set. CONSTITUTION:Signals 2-a, 3-a representing predetermined times (a) and (b) are outputted to a control circuit 8 from set circuits 2, 3. The control circuit 8 inputs a signal 4-a from a mode detection circuit 4 detecting the mode at the time (a) and the mode of the time (a) is stored in a mode storage circuit 5. The mode is left any mode out of the automatic reception mode and the manual reception mode. The control circuit 8 adds a signal to a mode state change circuit 6 and sets this circuit to the automatic reception mode. When the time reaches the set time (b), a signal stored is picked up from the mode storage circuit 5, and the mode is restored to the mode at the time (a). Thus, the time between the (a) and (b) is set to the automatic reception mode without fail. |
