PURPOSE:To make the device practical, by connecting a prescribed load in parallel with each photodetector to make the range of variance of the discharge time of a capacitor narrower than the range of variance of the output of a photoelectric element in an auto-focus camera or the like. CONSTITUTION:A load 22 is connected in parallel with a photodetector 17. When the intensity of light is changed from its minimum Lo to its maximum NLo, a discharge time maximum value (tmax)/discharge time minimum value (tmin)<N is true in a capacitor 20; and if the load is not connected in parallel, tmax/tmin=N is true. Thus, the discharge time due to the capacitor 20 is shortened to make the device practical. |
