The tricycle has two rear wheels with a one-way transmission extending between these and the pedals. It has a frame in which the rear part (18) supports two shafts for the wheels (30,31) and an intermediate shaft (32) driven by the pedals. The intermediate shaft is aligned with the wheel shafts and connected to them at their ends by free wheels. The rear section of the frame can have a horizontal tube (16) connected to the frame via a pivot to allow relative movement.
