PURPOSE:To promote the safety of flight by providing an alarm device to be operated by the output of a comparator device to compare an output received from a pressure transducer equipped at the exit part of a compressor of an engine with a fixed set value for detecting surging directly. CONSTITUTION:A pressure transducer 4 is equipped at a measuring port 3 for an exit pressure of a compressor 2 of an engine 1 for sending electric signals to a microcomputer 5 in accordance with the pressure. The microcomputer 5 calculates the change of the compressor exit pressure with the passage of time. Meanwhile, when the pressure is suddenly reduced, a sound alarm 6 or an alarm lamp 1 issues an alarm on the basis of a command of the microcomputer 5. In this construction, surging is directly detected, and the alarm is given to a pilot before an exhaust temperature surpasses a fixed value for preventing the burning damage of a turbine blade or the like and ensuring the safety of flight. |
