The hinge parts (1,6) of the hinge (2) are to be capable of being fastened easily to the frame or to the wing and of being adjusted finely. The fastening screws (9) are to be capable of being selected freely according to the particular conditions. The hinge (2) must also be suitable for heavy window wings or door wings. The male part (1) and the female part (6) of the hinge (2) each have two parallel continuous bores (3, 4; 7, 8) for receiving screws (9). The male part (1) is partially lathe-turned off at its end intended for engagement into the female part (6), so that a tenon (5) is formed.
