PURPOSE:To enable accurate detection of rotation by coupling a motor shaft to an encoder shaft by a ring-shaped leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:An encoder 14 is so fitted as to cover the periphery of a motor shaft 12 projecting from the main body of a motor 10. A shaft 30 of this encoder 14 is hollow and it is put on the outside of the part of the shaft 12 projecting from the main body of the motor 10. In the end part of this shaft 12 two projections 36 are provided apart by 180 deg. from each other. In the end part of the shaft 30 as well, two projections are provided apart by 180 deg. from each other. The shafts 12 and 30 are coupled to each other at the respective projections 38 and 40 through the intermediary of a ring-shaped leaf spring 40. Accordingly, the rotation of the shaft 12 is transmitted at once to the shaft 30. Thereby accurate detection of the rotation is enabled. |
