<p>PURPOSE:To prevent sudden change of charge on an image bearing sheet and disturbance of an image, by using a material participating in conveying said sheet, having >=10<6>ohm cm volume resistivity and 10<6>-10<9>ohm surface resistivity. CONSTITUTION:A charge 4 on toner forming a nonfixed image 6 is negative, a charge 5 on the lower side of a transfer paper 3 is positive, and accordingly, the paper 3 is conveyed to a guide member 2 in a stabilized state. Since the guide member 2 has >=10<6>ohm cm volume resistivity and 10<6>-10<9>ohm surface resistivity, a charge enough to bear the image 6 remains on the reverse side of the paper 3, and other excessive charge or triboelectric charge due to sliding, etc. disappear through the surface of the member 2 from the paper 3, the removed charge is discharged through the member 2, not accumulated on its surface, and fixing is conducted in a stabilized state.</p> |
