<p>PURPOSE:To detect the presence of a recorded video signal simply and clearly on tape, by contacting a tape with a smaller angle at that for loading at normal recording/reproducing on a rotating head drum, and detecting the presence of a signal from a small angle contact section. CONSTITUTION:At tape unloading state, a tape 1' is slightly drawn from a sub- drawing arm 6 out of a tape contained in a cassette by depressing a push button switch 12' and wound on a rotating drum 12 by an angle alpha deg.. With this state, other lead pins 4, 5 and a pinch roller 10 are not moved from a cassette hole and take a position as shown in Figure. A switch 13 is closed by pushing this switch 12' and the circuit of a VTR is switched to a reproducing mode. With this state, when the VTR is set to fast feed/rewinding mode and a tape runs with the device of reel stand, a part of the tape winding alpha is reproduced to detect if a signal is recorded on tape.</p> |
