PURPOSE:To reduce the measuring error of body temperature,and to enable accurate and quick measurement, by picking up the characteristics of temperature rise curve of the temperature detected with temperature sensing element and predicting the thermal balance temperature through the use of temperature difference corresponding to each characteristics stored in advence. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics pick up circuit 3 picks up the characteristics of the temperature rise curve of the temperature detected with the temperature sensing element 1 from the measurement value of the measuring circuit 2, and the picked up output is fed to the memory 4 as address signal. On the other hand, the temperature difference detection circuit 5 calculates the temperature difference TRX to the thermal saturation temperature TU when the characteristics are picked up, and this calculation value is stored in the memory 4. Accordingly, in the memory 4, each address corresponds to the characteristics of the temperature rise curve, and the value of TRX stored in each address is the temperature difference value corresponding to each characters. TU is calculated 7 through TRX and it is fed to the display section 9 via the control circuit 8. As a result, accurate temperature measurement can be made. |
