ON-VEHICLE ANTENNA SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain the safety of driving by inhibiting the driving of a vehicle except the state that an antenna for receiving satellite broadcast freely turnably possible for raising and falling provided on a roof of the vehicle such as an automobile is made brought down. CONSTITUTION:The parabolic antenna 1 for receiving satellite broadcast is contained in a storage cover 3 provided on a roof of the automobile. When a shutter 28 is closed completely, a switch 36 driven by the tip of the shutter is fitted to the cover 3 and the switch 36 is connected in series with an engine key switch. Thus, the engine of the automobile is not started except the state that the antenna 1 is stored in the cover 3 and the shutter 28 is closed. Then the possibility of the automobile is precluded from being driven in the state that the antenna 1 is raised in error and the safety of drive is ensured.
