<p>A resin-coated metal plate having a metal substrate and, formed on the surface thereof, a thermoplastic resin layer, characterized in that the thermoplastic resin layer comprises a polyester containing polyethylene terephthalate as a main component and an ethylene polymer and further comprises tocopherol or a derivative thereof. The resin-coated metal plate exhibits good corrosion resistance and impact resistance (dent resistance) together with good resistance to an atmosphere of both high temperature and high humidity, and thus can be subjected to retort sterilization and can be held in a hot vender after retort sterilization.</p> |
