The invention relates to a heat recovery system which can advantageously be used to recover thermal energy at low temperature. Such thermal energy is available virtually without cost as geothermal heat, as waste heat, in sewage, or, e.g., also in clarification (sewage) plants (works). According to the invention, such low-temperature heat is extracted and transported without additional energy by means of an insulated, flexible heat pipe in order to be coupled out into the heating circuit at the heat consumer, preferably by means of a heat pump. The invention makes available a possibility for the procurement of thermal energy which is competitive in terms of price and at the same time kind to the environment.
