<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable water-soluble composition which has record retention properties/productivity at a practical use level and applicability to a printer, with excellent water resistance and stickiness inhibitive performance only by drying without the use of a crosslinking agent. <P>SOLUTION: This coating agent composition contains (A) a polyvinyl alcohol resin containing an acetoacetic acid group and (B) a quaternary cationic aqueous polyurethane resin. Further, a treatment and a processing for forming a specific coating layer (an ink acceptance layer and a record retaining layer) in a sheet substrate or on the surface of a support substrate, are performed using the composition. Thus, sharp print on an inkjet recording paper by successful coating film formation and fingerprint deposition proofness and water-resistant recording retention effects of a printed object by water resistance results can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
