<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which can be assembled and connected without mistakes. <P>SOLUTION: A rib 50 is formed linearly in the axial direction of a connecting part 16 on the outer peripheral part 16A of the connecting part 16 in a joint body 12 of the pipe joint 10, and the rib 50 reaches the vicinity of a cap in the connecting part 16 from a bent part 12A of the joint body 12. On the other hand, a rib is not formed on the outer peripheral part of a connecting part 14 having a larger diameter than the connecting part 16. Then, a worker discriminates between the size of the diameter of the connecting part 14 and the size of the diameter of the connecting part 16 from the rib 50, so that pipes 24, 40 having corresponding diameters can be connected to the connecting parts 14, 16, and in assembling the pipe joint 10, parts (a water stop ring 30, an outer cylinder 32, a pipe holding ring 34, a cap 36, a release ring 38 and the like) not corresponding to the diameters of the connecting parts 14, 16 are not assembled by mistake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
