PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device where pull-out resistance when a sheet jammed on a conveying path is pulled out is suppressed.SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device includes: a body; a first conveying path through which a conveyed sheet passes; a second conveying path which is a conveying path through which the sheet, that passes through the first conveying path and is reversed in a conveying direction thereof, passes before it merges with the first conveying path again and which has a curved portion on a downstream side thereof; a first guiding member that constitutes one guiding surface of the second conveying path; and a second guiding member that constitutes the other guiding surface in the curved portion of the second conveying path. The first guiding member is supported rotatably between a guiding posture where the sheet is guided and an open posture that rotates from the guiding posture to open the guiding surfaces, and an interval between the first guiding member and the second guiding member in the open posture is greater than that in the guiding posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
