<p>Porous tubes are made from thermally bonded non-woven. Such tubes can be made seamless and suitable for lining with a semi-permeable membrane for reverse osmosis filtration. Fleece or card webs (32) can be wrapped around a mandrel (35) and compacted as by rolling and/or needling and thermobonded on the mandrel which may be tapered to ease removal.</p> |
