PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the execution of a heating unit and suppress disconnection and the like by covering a base cloth weaving carbon fiber and the like with synthetic rubber having specified hardness, and by energizing a conductor arranged on both sides of the base cloth to generate heat in the carbon fiber. SOLUTION: The planar heating element comprises a base cloth 11 woven from fiber including conductive fiber, a covering body 12 and a conductor 13, and processing improving adhesiveness with synthetic rubber is performed. At the time, the conductor 13 is covered with elastomer of synthetic resin of hardness of 60 degrees or higher, and an olefin-based primer for enhancing adhesiveness with rubber asphalt as a primer 16 is used. At first, base layer asphalt is placed, a planar heating element 1 is laid on while parting paper 14 is peeled off, and a rubber asphalt-based emulsion agent is applied on the upper face of a heating element 1. Surface layer asphalt is placed to be integrated. Therefore strengths of the base cloth 11 and the covering body 12 are combined, and even if an execution vehicle directly travels on the heating element 1 at the time of pavement of surface layer asphalt, disconnection, damage of insulation and the like can be prevented. |
