The rotating electric machine includes a stator (1) with windings drawn through slots (5) in the stator. The windings are formed of high-voltage cable (6). One of the slots (5) at an end surface of the stator (1) has a cuff device (13, 16) between the cable and the slot. The cuff extends axially a short distance into the slot. The cuff device includes a cuff extending in radial direction over several cable lead-throughs. The cuff has a profile in radial section corresponding with a profile of the slot. The cuff device includes several cuffs which are circular in a radial section. Each cuff surrounds a cable lead-through. |
