PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olmesartan medoxomil-containing pharmaceutical composition in which a decomposition reaction during storage of a formulation containing olmesartan medoxomil as an active ingredient is suppressed compared to conventional products.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition contains following components (A)-(C). (A) Olmesartan medoxomil, (B) one or more kinds of highly water absorbing property additives selected from a binder, a disintegrator and an excipient, wherein the additives contain water at a water absorption rate of not less than 3%, and a total content of the (B) is 70 mass% or more of a content of the (A), and (C) non water absorbing property additives selected from a binder, a disintegrator, and an excipient, wherein the additives contain water at a water absorption rate of less than 1%, and a total content of the additives (C) is 80 mass% or less of the total content of the (B), are contained in the pharmaceutical composition. |
