摘要 Disclosed is a handpiece for a high frequency heat treatment device with an improved cooling function. A cooling means is prepared to cool an electrode unit formed in the handpiece, so the electrode unit can be prevented from being overheated and temperature of the electrode unit can be easily adjusted. Accordingly, a needed energy amount can be effectively controlled according to the different properties of human body and tumor positions for each patient. The disclosed handpiece for a high frequency heat treatment device with an improved cooling function is installed in the high frequency heat treatment device to apply a high frequency electrical current to an affected area, and comprises: a handpiece body formed in a disc shape and having an installation groove formed in a lower surface thereof; a handpiece handle coupled with an upper surface center of the handpiece body; a bolus coupled with a lower side of the handpiece body, and filled with coolant supplied through the handpiece body; an electrode unit coupled with a lower surface of the handpiece body, formed in the bolus, disposed between the bolus and a lower electrode unit disposed in a lower side of the affected area, and formed to apply a high frequency electrical current generated from the high frequency generating unit to the affected area; and a thermoelectric element attached on an upper surface of the electrode unit, and accommodated and formed in the installation groove of the handpiece body.
