PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording which gives high image density and has excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: The ink for inkjet recording comprises at least water, a water-soluble solvent, a pigment, and a copolymer containing a salt of a diphosphonic acid group; and the copolymer contains a structural unit expressed by general formula (1) and a structural unit of N-(1,1 dimethyl-2-acetylethyl)-(meth)acrylamide. In general formula (1), Rrepresents H or a methyl group; X represents an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and M+ represents an alkali metal ion or an organic ammonium ion, or a proton, where an alkali metal and a proton, and an organic ammonium ion and a proton may be present together, and half or more of M+ in the copolymer is an alkali metal ion or an organic ammonium ion. |
