PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type heating system which can save fuel. SOLUTION: The hybrid type heating system includes a temperature sensor 9 that detects a room temperature. A control mode includes a fuel saving operation mode in which a command generating part 8 outputs a combustion stop command if a temperature sensor 9 detects that the room temperature has risen from a set temperature T by a predetermined temperature t1 in such a state where a liquid fuel combustion burner device 3 is operated independently, outputs an electrification start command if the room temperature drops by a temperature t2 which is lower than the predetermined temperature t1, and outputs a combustion start command and an electrification stop command if the room temperature drops to a set temperature T or lower.
