PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a method for manufacturing a polycarbonate resin, a method capable of preventing quality deterioration attributable to a filtering device and of reducing time required till pelletizing quality stabilizes.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polycarbonate resin including a step of filtering a polymer melt through a filtering device equipped with a polymer filter, the polymer melt generated by a transesterification reaction of a dihydroxy compound and a carbonic acid diester, wherein inside of the filtering device is adjusted to 1.33 kPa or below and at 250°C or above before the polymer melt is passed through the filtering device. |
