The present invention belongs to the field of mobile terminal technology, and discloses a mobile terminal and setup information updating method and device thereof. The method includes: obtaining a positioning National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) message by a Global Positioning System (GPS); parsing the NMEA message, and obtaining a current time and current position information of a mobile terminal; according to the position information, querying a country which the current position belongs to, and reading a language type of the country; according to the read language type and the current time, updating setup information of the mobile terminal. The present invention can update the setup information of the mobile terminal in time according to the mobile terminal locus, thus improving humanization of the mobile terminal, and being useful to generalize the mobile terminal. |
