In the present invention, a touch slider unit is provided with: a touch slider having a contact part touched by the user and a translucent part disposed so as to enclose the vicinity of the contact part; an electrode disposed on the reverse surface of the contact part of the touch slider; a controller for detecting a change in the capacitance of the electrode and sensing, on the basis of the detected change in the capacitance of the electrode, the user touching the touch slider; and a light-emitting light source disposed on the reverse surface of the touch slider. It is thereby possible to obtain satisfactory backlight characteristics and improve operability.
