PURPOSE: A vertical type turbo device is provided to mount a magnetic bearing suing a reaction force of a coil and a permanent magnet in the lower part of a rotator, thereby damping the pressure actuated on the rotator with the reaction force generated by discharging compressed air and rotating an impeller in operation. CONSTITUTION: A vertical type turbo device comprises a housing(10), a stator(20), a rotor(30), an impeller(60), a bearing(80), a support member(82), a thrust bearing plate(84), an auxiliary member(86), and a magnetic bearing(90). The housing includes an opened portion in one side. The stator is fixed in one side of the inside of the housing. The rotor is arranged inside stator and includes a magnet(40) surrounding a part of the outer periphery of the rotary shaft. The impeller is joined to one side of the rotary shaft. The bearing surrounds the other side of the rotator. The support member fixes the bearing in the housing. |
