<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device capable of selectively letting only a specific person among a plurality of persons in the same room hear an alarm sound. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm device includes a speaker 7 which outputs the alarm sound with narrow directivity, a moving mechanism part 8 which is mounted with the speaker 7 and changes the direction of the speaker 7 movably, and a control part 40 which drives the moving mechanism 8 at preset alarm time to direct the speaker 7 to a preset direction and instructs the speaker 7 to generate the alarm sound in this state. Therefore, when the present time reaches the predetermined alarm time, the control part 40 drives the moving mechanism part 8 to direct the speaker 7 to the preset direction, and the alarm sound can be generated by the speaker 7 with narrow directivity in this state.
