<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a cover of electric components of a compressor, wherein the device has low noise and high productivity by suppressing resonance between a mounting flat portion of a sealed vessel and a bracket. <P>SOLUTION: A bracket 104 has a plurality of welding projections 107 protruding toward a sealed vessel side and has at least one contact portion, to be in contact with the portion other than welding portions, between a mounting flat portion 102 and the bracket 104. Thereby, even when flatness of the mounting flat portion or of a body portion 104b of the bracket 104 is insufficient, the mounting flat portion 102 and the bracket 104 are reliably brought into contact with each other by the contact portion, and thereby, the bracket 104 is brought into contact with and fixed to the portion other than the welding portions and resonance of the bracket 104 can be suppressed.
