PROBE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality probe having nanotubes which are firmly bonded to a tip part of an exploring needle.

SOLUTION: A probe 3 includes an exploring needle 20 whose tip part is sharpened, and nanotubes 23 each one end side of which is attached to the tip part of the exploring needle in a state of being oriented in an extending direction of the exploring needle. A combined body 30 made of a material different from that of the exploring needle is formed at the tip part of the exploring needle. The nanotubes are also chemically bonded to the exploring needle via selectively binding substances 31 having an affinity for each of the nanotubes and the combined body.
