PURPOSE: A light source assembly and a backlight assembly with the same are provided to change the structure of a plate to change an arrangement of light emitting diodes to increasing brightness. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first light source units(111) are separated by a first distance. The first light source units are mounted on a first substrate. Second light source units(211) are separated by a second distance. The second light source units are mounted on a second substrate. The second light source units are arranged on a separation space of the first light source units.
