<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of receiving a lubricant oil attached to the outer periphery of a head part by an oil tank, and the oil tank of the sewing machine. <P>SOLUTION: A sewing machine 1 has an oil tank 10 having side walls 1012 and 1014 having upper edge portions positioned above a lower end of a head wall part 211 of a head part 21. The oil tank 10 has the side walls 1012 and 1014 positioned in the outside of the head wall part 211. The oil tank 10 has the side walls 1012 and 1014 having the upper edge portions positioned above the lower end of the head wall part 211, thereby allowing a lubricant oil scattered in a post part 22 by the drive of the sewing machine 1 to be securely received. The oil tank 10 has the side walls 1012 and 1014 positioned in the outside of the head wall part 211, allowing the lubricant oil attached to the head wall part 211 and dropped therefrom to be securely received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
