PURPOSE: A solar power generator and a method for controlling a solar cell plate are provided to track the sun with maximum efficiency by improving the accuracy of controlling a position angle of the solar cell plate. CONSTITUTION: A solar power generator comprises a solar cell plate, and a motor assembly. The solar cell plate comprises a fixed solar cell plate(145), a slide solar cell plate(140), and a movable unit. The movable unit operates the slide solar cell plate so that the slide solar cell plate is slid on a rear surface of the fixed solar cell plate. The motor assembly comprises a plurality of motors(135) generating torque around each shaft, and rotates the solar cell plate in a free direction.
