METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ESTIMATING AMOUNT OF EXTERNAL INTERFERENCE IN WIRELESS MESH NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for estimating the amount of external interference in a wireless mesh network is provided to accurately predict the amount of external traffic for each mesh node. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for estimating the amount of external interference comprises: a communication unit(110) for transreceiving data through one or more channels among usable multi channels; a control unit(120) for collecting traffic information by external nodes to one or more channels through the communication unit; a control unit for removing overlapped traffic by comparing the traffic information and predicting the amount of external channel interference.
