PURPOSE: A jig apparatus for preventing welding distortion of a pipe is provided to maintain a welded pipe in a horizontal position by bending the pipe in a direction opposed to transformation. CONSTITUTION: A jig apparatus for preventing welding distortion of a pipe comprises a lower clamp(10) and an upper clamp(20). The lower clamp is supported by the lower side of both ends of a pipe(P). The upper clamp is located above the lower clamp and supported by the upper side of the pipe. The lower and upper clamp comprises body parts(11,21) and flange parts(12,22) extended from one ends of the body parts. The body parts have mounting grooves corresponding to the shape of the pipe to bend both ends of the pipe when coupling the flange parts.
