<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear for a dog clutch, configured so that stress concentration on the gear by an processing edge can be prevented, and the life of a cutting can be extended by preventing a cutting load from intermittently acting on the cutting tool. <P>SOLUTION: The gear includes a rim portion 12 having power transmitting teeth 11 formed on the outer periphery, a boss portion 13 to be fitted to a rotating shaft 1, an annular connecting portion 14 connecting the rim portion 12 to the boss portion 13, and a dog member 16 formed on a side surface of the annular connecting portion 14. A machining surface is formed on an axial end surface 13a of the boss portion 13, and a relief groove 18 is formed at a connecting part 17 between the boss portion 13 and the dog member 16 so as to be axially continued from the dog member 16 to the axial end surface of the boss portion 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
