ENERGY EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION METHOD IN GROUP INFORMATION-BASED SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A low power communications method and a sensor network system using the same are provided to reduce the idle receiving standby time. CONSTITUTION: A source node creates a group search request message. A group search request message comprises an identifier of a source group, an identifier of a target group corresponding to a group search object, a hop count showing the communications distance to the object node, and an own address. A source node spreads the group search request message to a network and search to the target group. A target node transmits a response message to the group search request message to the source node. A target node decides whether set or not for the communications path to the source node based on the group search request message.
