PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector excellently sweeping dust attached to a filter part while continuing operation of the dust collector and collecting dust in the dust-containing air by the filter part. SOLUTION: The dust collector includes: the filter part with the inside of a casing sectioned into a dust-containing air introducing chamber and a cleaned air chamber and collecting dust in the dust-containing air; a compressed air jetting part pulsingly jetting compressed air for sweeping the dust attached to the filter part; and a control part. The control part operates the compressed air jetting part and pulsingly jets the compressed air from the cleaned air chamber side to the dust-containing air introducing chamber side, while collecting dust by the filter part by passing the dust-containing air through the filter part from the dust-containing air introducing chamber side to the cleaned air chamber side, then operates the compressed air jetting part again before a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter part returns to the pressure difference in the dust collecting state, and pulsingly jets the compressed air again.
