PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper which is resistant to the falling down of the diaper which is attributed to the movement of a wearer and so on during the wear of the diaper. SOLUTION: In a pants type disposable diaper 1, an absorber body which includes an absorbent core and an external capsule material are provided, and a waist opening part 5 and a pair of leg opening parts 6, 6 are formed. The external capsule material has a structure where two elongational sheets are stacked. At least, one of the elongational sheets has stretching properties. A high mounting compression area 71 which arranges a separate elastic sheet from the two elongational sheets or the high mounting compression area 71 where a sheet with stretch properties of the two elongational sheets forms a stratified part more than two layers is contained between the waist opening part 5 and the leg opening parts 6, 6 in the ventral part and the dorsal part of the diaper respectively. The high mounting compression area 71 maintains a higher pressure than a peripheral area 72 of the waist opening part and an area 73 of the leg opening parts side from the high mounting compression area respectively when wearing the diaper.
