PURPOSE: A connection structure of a precast concrete box culvert unit of differential settlement protecting configuration and a concrete box culvert with the same structure are provided to prevent damage to the connection part of a box culvert and increase shear resistance and axial direction stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: A connection structure of a precast concrete box culvert unit of differential settlement protecting configuration is composed like next. A concave insertion part(30) of reverse tapered shape is formed on the junction of a second culvert unit(10b) and a first culvert unit(10a). A connection settlement anchor element(20) is arranged to the insertion part. The front end of the first tendon within the first culvert unit is down settled in the inside of rear side wall of the opening.
